Citadel Alumni Deaths

Dr. William F. Kopacka Jr., of Charleston, died Nov. 9, 2009.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Kopacka received an M.S. in 1976 from the University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. from International College in 1980.   He is survived by his father, two brothers, a sister and two nephews, to include Cadet Chapman W. (Luke) Lucas, ’13.Private Funeral Service will be held at a later date. BOSTICK-TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 2930 Colonial Dr., Columbia, SC has assisted the family.
