Sauerbrei, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 at his residence. =

memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 3 o’clock =

at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Burial =

be held at a later date at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Fair Haven, VT. In =

Jerry was born on March 20, 1932, in Burlington, VT, son of the late =
Merrill

A. Sauerbrei and Dorothy E. Mulholland. He graduated from =
Loomis-Chaffee

High School in Windsor, CT in 1951. He received a BA in History from

University of Maryland in 1956. He received a MS in public =
administration

from Troy State University in 1976 and then received a MA in teaching =
from

The Citadel in 1991. He retired from the United States Air Force as =
a

Colonel after 30 years of service from 1956 to 1986. He was a teacher =
in

Berkeley County for two years and a substitute teacher with =
Dorchester

County School District II from 1991 to 2008. He served on the =
Dorchester

County Election Commission from 1996 to 2012. He was a member of Old =
Fort

Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are: One Son, Douglas =
M.

Sauerbrei of Summerville, CT; One Daughter, Margaret Gayle Malouf (Ron) =
of

Long Beach, CA; Sister-In-Law: Kathy Hally (Larry) of Branford, CT. He =
is

predeceased by his daughter, Toby Annalisa Sauerbrei. A memorial message =
