Citadel Alumni Obituaries

Roger A. Milley, Sr., of Absecon, NJ, and formerly of Hammonton passed on
Thursday January 17, 2013 hopeful to be with his Lord and Savor Jesus
Christ. Born in Phila. PA, he graduated from Hammonton High School in 1957
and the Citadel in 1961. He served in the U.S Air Force Reserve during
Vietnam. Roger’s career spanned over 40 years as an Accountant and he
enjoyed his work. As an Elder in the Ocean City Presbyterian Church and
recently attending Absecon Presbyterian Church, Roger’s wish for his memory
be that all who desire, read psalm 51:1-17. Predeceased by his parents J.
Chester Milley and Marion E.Milley. Beloved Husband of Marcia Milley (nee
Owens). They enjoyed a true partnership together of love. Roger said : Marti
is my very best friend I have ever had.” His children Roger A. Milley, Jr.,
Rev. James Milley and Evelyn Lyons. Dear brother of Joan Ambrose and Nancy
Milley. Loving Grandfather of 11 and all of them gave him great pleasure in
life. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd
St. Hammonton, NJ. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of
