Harry Russell Huxford, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Annette
Ward Huxford entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 22, 2012. His
funeral service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR,
INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 12 Noon. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Stuhr’s West Ashley Chapel Saturday 1
hour prior to the service. Mr. Huxford was born June 23, 1933 in Charleston,
South Carolina, son of Harry Huxford and Florence Jones Huxford. He was a
Citadel graduate of 1960, U.S. Army veteran and was a Electrical Engineer
and retired with 29 years of service from E. I. DuPont Corporation. He is
survived by his wife of 57 years, Annette Huxford of Charleston, SC, two
sons, Arthur C. Huxford, Harry R.Huxford Jr. and his wife Betty all of
Charleston, SC, two sisters Florence (Jack) Kurtz and Janet Woodard both of
Charleston, SC, two granddaughters, Rachel C. (Robert) Phillips of Chapel
Hill, NC and Lauren E. Huxford of Charleston, SC. He is preceded in death by
two daughters, Deborah Marie and Miriam Yvette Huxford. Memorials may be
